I'm not getting along with the "old" style bar button for my Reverb. I'm double jointed in my hands and pushing that plunger down can be tricky, particularly when the button is wet.
So I was asking my LBS about the new under bar lever upgrade and they suggested going mechanical with the Wolf tooth lever. They also suggested this may make the Reverb generally more reliable.
Has anyone done a mechanical conversion and would you recommend it?
I did the bikeyoke dehy conversion. Really good til the reverb died internally.
I bought the bikeyoke revive dropper as a replacement.
I still have the dehy conversion kit and remote if your interested (A1/A2 reverb only)
Best thing you can do is ditch the hydraulic actuation on a reverb.
Jambo - not sure which version I have yet.
Looks like emchanical is the way to go. Thanks for the replies.
bikeyoke dehy conversion on mine -ย best thing for the reverb

Nope, just get the lever style remote instead. I really don't see what the issue with hydraulics some people have, it really isn't difficult. I do agree however, the reverb button is ergonomically utter shite.
