Them things in the other room with wheels? 50 mile road ride along the North Wales coast, rain, full on wind, laughing almost crying, 3 bloody punctures, ran out of jaffa cake bars, got a bit lost, absolutely ****ed! Even the hot babe in the cafe on the way back was replaced by some tired old hag. NIce summery rides are over. Anyway, bring it on!

Kev; was in Caymden earlier, back along canal. Sunny, warm, very pleasnt. Lots of pretty young ladies about, met an old friend from college, she's still really, really hot, going drinks with her soon! ๐Ÿ˜€

No punctures, had plenty of cigs on me.

Not knackered by the riding, just the excitement of living in this wonderful metropolis!

50 mile road ride along the North Wales coast

Which is all pretty flat, isn't it? Go and find some hills. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Where did you go?

the sun came out, then in, then torrential rain. repeat to fade. I had some proper good tunes on my mp3 player though to get me through the tough bits. Tyres are defo fubarred, still gotta get new ones. It's the stupid rides like this, that on reflection later, I like the most! How do you get covered in mud riding a road bike?

When I was young was on a 60mile ride with a mate mid winter. Got half way and it starting pelting down with frozen rail ten I got soaked as my waterproof jacket wasn't waterproof. Distance, weather and fitness just really got to me and really struggled then. Did the dyfi two years ago having been off the bike for 6 months and before then was doing some light riding in Hampshire... I got back to folks house passed out, couldn't drive home for 24hours!

Yep, writing this whilst flakes on the bed with a beer watching the Superleague, to tired to do anything else, recently relocated to 'The Valleys' (South Wales) thought I'd go explore on the roadie, bloody hell it's just hills everywhere!! Kinda took myself on a bigger loop than planned but have the face of happy contented knackered on me, I may well try it again tomorrow, great weather, bit of a prog rock soundtrack and stunning views, Happy Days!! Oh and I practically fell over when I got back and got off the bike my legs just couldn't take anymore

About 75 days of riding since the middle of June. One more week until the end of the season. I am pretty knackered!

On the other hand, I'm also planning a bunch of bike trips for the Autumn!

Thank god cycling isn't a competitive sport and we just go out and have a ride and enjoy ourselves and get fit and see things and don't bicker about inconsequential stuff.

Oh....!

My legs are aching a little bit. 3 commutes over three days in some heavy winds, 30 miles a day. It's not real mileage but it was fast and hard every day.
