If so how tall are you?
I think I am inbeween the sizes and after a brief sit on today I cannot decide which one fits me best! I like the idea of a small frame (even if it does look like a childs bike) but I amy live to regret it and am worried that the 16" at 23.5TT may be a bit long. My heckler is 22.5 and I like it like that.
Yeh man, 16" and I'm 5ft 9" and I like em nice n nimble beneath me. Better for tech stuff 8)
16" here at 5'5" ish, 29" inside leg. Fit is spot on.

MrsbeanZ is 5`2" and has a 14" with okay standover .
5'6 and 16" was spot on.bike scene in Guisborough are doing 14" frame for £799.99 might be worth a look.
Thanks for the info! I'm 5"6' and the 16" felt good for the few secs I sat on it but so did the 14". A proper test ride will help me out!
I'm 5'7",with short legs - stumps really.
I had a 16" sub 5 which fit ok but the top tube was a little high.
I subsequently bought a couple of Orange hardtails in 14" - they are perfect.If I were to buy another 5 it would be 14" fo'sho'.
I had a 14" or 15" (small anyway) inch sub zero and it was really nice. I think what is confusing me is Santa Cruz's are generally short in the TT (17" heckler is 22.5) where as Oranges are a bit longer (14" 5 22.5 TT). I had a 23" TT 5 spot for a while and I think I found it a bit long it was awhile ago and it go nicked before I could really get to love it! It is just the Small 5 frame looks flippin tiny but it does have the TT length I think I prefer......Anyways I'm no giant so its not as if a 14" frame wouldn't fit!
