For the hobbit sized merlin are selling the 15" rock lobster frames of for a bargain price.
I had an 853 many years ago and loved it but now the ti is £500. Seems a pretty good deal.
Any one had/got the ti version? Any good? Any pics?

V slightly too small for me I think
I had a look a few months ago and they looked good tbh, the geo is the same as the other Rock Lobsters so was a no-go for me but if you've got on with them in the past then you're laughing.
I'd considered one a while ago...I bought a s/h, different brand ti frame instead for similar money and shot blasted it so it was like new. Don't know if I've done the right thing now after seeing all these cracked ti frames! At least if I'd bought new I'd have a warranty!

I had the ali lobster which was superb for a 100mm xc machine (whats not to like)?
I love mine, got an old 853 one as well.They come up too short in the top tube for some, geometry is here;
Yeah I had a tig team sl and it was just too short - I sold it on quite quickly. If it fits then go for it.
tt is inch longer than current frame so should be ok for the Mrs.
