I joined so I could stalk all the pro cyclists on there, but I could do with actually having some interesting real people to follow, too.

So, I'm @chris_baddick if anyone is interested...

Who else should I follow?

@Missus_Toast

Although I normally talk about geeky stuff and what my dog's been getting up to, which probably has limited appeal.

I have actually been using Twitter to help me improve my Portuguese. I am following quite a few Brazilian bike groups, mainly urban bikers, and it is great to see a lot of the projects which they are involved in trying to improve facilities for bikers in Brazil, across many cities.

São Paulo has just had a few extra km of its cycle lanes opened. The only problem is that they run down the "river" and for me the smell is so bad I can never see myself using these lanes, on top of all the pollution issues. Good luck to them though.

@MulletusMaximus

I've only just joined so not a lot going on and only 4 followers. 🙁

Tweets are very one dimension and boring with some pictures of my no carb lunches.

Can I stalk [s]all[/s]some of you? 🙂

A few of that lot up there will confirm the sheer inanity and tedium of my postings.

Put it this way: I wouldn't follow me.

@imjustinfloyd

I'm trying to make comments on "the intersection between art, design, craft and sustainable manufacturing with a perspective on locality and emerging economics" to back up my MA Design work.

So quite boring and confused probably verging on pretentious?!

Thanks guys, STW does have a interesting mix of people, and twitter certainly gives a different outlet than the forum.

I use twitter for updates from races when writing longer reports isn't appropriate, and also for fetching information from racing, cycling in general, and also the day job which is Neuroscience based.

Living in Colorado, I also feel like I hear more details from my friends in the UK than through other means.

@muchbettertom - i'm not particularly interesting.
