I need the headtube on an aluminium frame faced.
Any recommendations?
Thanks
You could try Wallis Cycles in Higher Walton, just south of Preston:

Ride on at Rawtenstall seem very helpful.
Leisure Lakes although it's quite a bit outside Preston and I haven't used them so can't personally recommend them

Hewitts in Leyland will be able to do it.

Not really.
And if you're heading that way, you might as well see if Merlin do such a thing (or do they just flog stuff?).
In Leyland there's Paul Hewitt. In Ormskirk there's Harry Middleton (now Bicycle Lounge).
You could try Paul Hewitt cycles in Leyland, they mainly do roadie stuff, but do mountain bikes as well.

I've had frames faced at Merlin, they have a very good mechanic called Lee.
Great help, thanks everyone ๐
+ 1 for hewitts. Proper frame builder.
Lee has left Merlin I think, they seem really busy with new builds from the website. These seem to be taking priority and repairs and other works are getting pushed back a bit. Matt is still on his own i think in the workshop and always seems flat out busy.
Richard
yep lee has left merlins and is now at alan's in wigan so i am told. Paul hewitts in leyland is the best place to go.
Steveo! You're alive! What have you bought now...? ๐
Tarty Bikes, Leyland
Online order company, but have a full workshop IIRC. Worth a call?
