Anyone know of nice (cheap) places to stay round Brechfa way, couple of nights pub style thing etc.....

I think this thread tells you alot. Great place to ride, but not the best location. There doesnt seem to be any camping options nearby.
there's some bike friendly B&Bs that advertise on the web, and some pub/B&Bs in nearby villages.
The owners for the Black Lion pub have a lovely cottage just 50m from the pub and the start if the Red trail. It's called Cothi View. Google Gorlechtrail.com. The pub serves extremely good home cooked food too. Or try Brechfa bunk if you're on a budget.
Last weeks research led me to think www.brechfa-bunkhouse.com would be about the best. They didn't get back to me after leaving a couple of answerphone messages, though.
Didn't get my shit together for the weekend anyway and ended up going to Deggly-Weggly instead.
