I need a little more rise on my bars to hopefully ease a shoulder injury a little and whilst looking for another pair of Renthals came across the Tag bars on sale in Tredz (ally and carbon) https://www.tredz.co.uk/mountain-bike-handlebars - pricing seem good and the limited reviews are OK - anyone on here used them?
I've had the 40mm rise version for 5 years. Cut to 780mm. Had loads of use, including Alps last year. So they pass the durability test. Can't say I noticed a huge amount of difference between these and the oneup carbon, which seem to be regarded as the most comfortable. I'd have another one if I needed one, especially at that price.
Cheers for that - have a pair coming into my local Tredz
I find them quite stiff compared to the Cannondale Hollowgram bars that they replaced.
They were also slightly heavier but they're nice bars though. Still better than than the standard Alu bars that came on the bike.
I'm thinking about forking out for some OneUp bars to replace them. Got this on my HT and they're a lot nicer to ride.
