Not out this weekend but snuck a ride in this afternoon after a cheeky early finish. Trails were suprisingly dry!

Out with #1 child on our hollibobs.

Timberline bike park in Oregon (under the towering Mt Hood), very dusty but great for very long, flowing, simple trails.

^deadliest animal in the uk that. Glad you made it out to post 🙂

I haven’t quite nailed ride photos, I either forget to take any or take them badly. This, though an ‘interesting’ composition is probably tonight’s finest, from before the light faded

And this ‘interesting’ly lit one from after the light faded. Short jaunt up and over kingley vale

A bimble along the coast from Berwick to Lindisfarne and back. Not very exciting but some lovely views. Not that I took many pics again 🤔

First time on the MTB in weeks, was great ! Though I did get a stick in rear mech on way back and lost top half of cassette, thank goodness for a turbo button 😁. Bike washed and lubed, new hanger on, all working now as it should 👍👌

Not too many thrills, but a thoroughly pleasant trundle through North Somerset.

At nearly 18 miles, a new post COVID ebike record for me 🙂

A particularly good crop of photos this week, I feel bad diluting it with my roadie adventures but it WAS a particularly mountainous route, crazy gradients and even cambers on some of those roads! 😵‍💫

No pics taken - I beasted myself around Sherrifmuir and Braco on the road in the damp/mizzle, only for it to stop as I arrived home 🙁

Second post on this thread for me (actually 3rd ride, it’s been a good weekend).

A bit different this time, dad bike (and mum bike) headed to the new forest

really proud of my 4 year old daughter. Her first time tackling hills and a surface that isn’t tarmac. She loved it.

Attempted to go enduro-ing today. This is me going round a berm, 3rd run down.

Just after this was taken my mate spannered himself (probably broken ribs) so we went home.

Did get a short local ride in afterwards though. Gutted that he's sitting in A&E this afternoon what a way to round off the weekend 🙁

We had a great ride today. Only one of the BH weekend but we made the most of it. Didn't take any pics tho, so

Instead here are some words on why the bike you're riding is the best bike in the world 😉

My usual August Bank Holiday Monday ride: escaping the crowds at Cwm Rhaeadr. Started wet but dried out pretty quickly, still some puddles but the grip was great so all-in a win! Only managed 3 laps though as my calves were aching like hell on the 3rd descent, good news is my cardiovascular fitness is getting better. Slowly getting my fitness up and weight down after a year of hardly any riding and a work/life balance that was completely wrong. Got the whole of September free coming up so hoping to really give things a boost ready for winter and the dreaded Zwift training sessions.

Nowhere 🥺

Been busy all weekend and ended up clearing the shed out today. Job well done though, couldn't hardly get through the door before and now have a decent workspace again 😊
