Nice link but IMHO those things are only worth it for emergencies...like you lose your lights?

When commuting I always have 2 full size LEDs anyway (front and back). Don't see the point, and the batteries aren't cheap either compared to AAs

I got a trade pack of the batteries when i needed one for my car remote so have loads. Cost me fiver or so for 20 of them.

Well, I think Trout accidently made one of those in his garage and had a quick look into the beam.
