jra tape is silly expensive and out of stock..
I'm not convinced or happy with insulating tape as it stretches very thin over the spoke holes over time and splits.
what do you recommend?
more insulating tape?
if you do a search on my last tubeless thread from earlier today asking about inner tubes, theres a link late on to 'superghetto tubeless' with no yellow tape in sight 🙂
3 layers electrical tape.
my wheel has been up for 6 months....
Spoke to a guy at a respectable bike shop who happen to import an equally respectable tubeless conversion system, probably the one you are thinking about. His comment verbatim "Why don't you use insulation tape?" when I couldn't decide the correct width of yellow tape to buy. Works for me.
