Just a recommendation for the above. Recently purchased at the bike sale day.
After a few wet rides I can comfortably declare they're streets ahead of my porelles and stay warm too.
I think they were about £10!
If you get a chance don't miss out!!

No not neoprene,they're an inner and outer sock with a waterproof membrane.
Quite good as well.

A mate has them and reckons they are the same ones that Merlin now stock.

I can certainly verify they are indeed waterproof. I poured about half a pint out of each foot a couple of weeks ago. Twice!
No worse than more expensive ones though and definitely good value.
