Every now and then we get a reminder of why we love riding bikes. Sometimes our riding gets a little samey or stale without us realising.
The boys at Ae bike shop have run shop rides the last 4 weeks or so with a bbq after and it's given me and my riding a bit of a boost. Tonight they had over 2 dozen riders of varying abilities and aged from maybe 10 to 60. We did a fairly short loop with a couple of climbs and regrouped half a dozen times but everyone had a great ride. The sight of 27 riders snaking up the new red climb to the top of Omega Man was a joy to see.
And just to top it off the BBQ and pudding in particular were worth all the effort.
