I feel very front heavy on my Trek Ex8. I find manualing a real/too much of an effort so have so far ridden trails where I can get a way with dropping the front wheel rather than taking off. Even riding on the flat at the end of the day I can really feel the weight through my arms and have to sit bolt upright to shift the weight back.
I thought it might be that my seat was too far forward so have set it further back and shortened the stem but if anything I felt as though my weight was even further forward on my ride today.
So does anybody have any suggestions on to what might be wrong? The only time I really feel as though I could lift the front end up without too much effort is when my butt is off the back but to get in this position each time would sacrifice control and I then find it difficult getting back on the seat.
