[Closed] Adding nuts to a fork brace

Whilst I would like this post to be about drillium and spoons it’s unlikely to be my preferred a approach.

I have a Fox fork that has mounting points (nuts) for a mudguard 👍🏻

I have a RS fork that doesn’t 👎🏻

I’m thinking about epoxying a couple of nuts into the cut outs on the back of the RS brace to create mounting points.

Bad idea? Would mastic/gasket maker be a better option?

Is there a better way I should be considering - I believe “things” called zipped ties exist but that simply seems to be another term for zoodoo.

Sounds like a great idea if you can get the nuts in the right spot

Depending on the particular RS fork, just get one of there instead? https://www.mojo.co.uk/dfender-mudguard-inc-clamp-987-p.asp
