[Closed] Accommodation for one in Chamonix

I'm off to Chamonix for a week, starting about 12th September - lucky me!

Can anyone recommend some bike-friendly and sensibly priced accommodation for one (bed-only is fine)?

A single room somewhere would be great, but I guess a nice hostel of some sort would do too. I've not been before but I guess I don't mind where in the valley I stay (do I?).

Stayed at this youth hostel a few years back and it was pretty decent:-

At that stage you are mid to off season so you might get a deal out of one of the cheaper hotels who will have plenty of free space - it'd be worth ringing round a few.

I stayed in Chalet Whymper with Bigfoot travel for one night on my tod a couple of years ago. It's pretty central and the staff were very friendly...
