I can't imagine why you would be mad enough to try and sell it in the UK, rather than get it over to either ebay.fr or a specialist cycle memorabilia auction in france

That needs to be restored back to original condition, look on it as a project and you will realise far more back on it if you then decide to sell it.

I know, to be honest I've agonised over this.
But it comes down to the fact I need cash, and I really need it at the minute.
I haven't got the time or money to invest in restoring it myself... or really the enthusiasm for it.
