Leaked images of 2011 Shimano groupset parts have started to appear on the web and some users have posted links to the images on this forum. For good reasons we have been deleting these images as they are embargoed and copyright images belonging to Shimano.
The images that have appeared are not meant for public viewing. They are meant for manufacturers who can now start to plan their bikes and how best to design the new parts into their 2011 ranges. When images like this are leaked it has an impact on current sales within the industry that affects everyone from your local bike shop through to us media types. Wether you agree or not WE believe this is a bad thing.
It's a bit like someone posting a link to a website where you can download a leaked version of the next Girls Aloud album before it's been officially released 🙂
Rather than publish unofficial images that may or may not accurately reflect what is to come we would rather wait a few weeks for the official press launch of Shimano 2011 and provide you with quality reports from the horses mouth, so to speak.
So, we ask that you don't post links or images of embargoed products on our forum.
