I think it's going to take all winter to work out exactly what footage I have as the Go Pro filled lots of Gb of memory cards on this year's trip to Whistler Bike Park!
So I thought I'd bung together a quick one from my initial glance: http://mountainbikerides.co.uk/video/17-whistler/388-whistler-bike-park-august-2011.html
Nice vid. Liked the song who was it.
Not so sure about the tassles though ๐
I bought a Go Pro off 'Oxnop' on here for my trip to the US, and also now have hours of video to sort through! Really pleased with the results so far, the chest strap gives a great perspective.
Here is my very first effort at editing
was that a big drop down to the left..good vid for first time
Nice vids guys.
Which GoPro is that Phil?
Yes, it is a very big drop to the left for large parts of this trail, several hundred feet!
It's the Go Pro HD - all I did was turn it on, didn't even look at the settings, so probably missed a few tricks.
That drop is nuts! Vertigo means rides like that are a no go for me. I'm curious about those that don't get vertigo, what goes through your mind when riding along something like that? I can't imagine anything other than terror.
I finally made it to Whistler despite only living an hour or so away. Here's some rough footage of the gnarness that is B Line, and in the insanity that is Heart Of Darkness, or something like that. My 2Step Lyrik had just blown up on me, so the footage is pretty shaky!
@seven: The Japanese Popstars - Let Go
Everyone in Whistler loved the tassles! Got lots of comments ๐
@walleater: tuck your Camelbak hose out the way when you chest cam! ๐
Ha, yeah. I'm a GoPro noob, and just borrowed it for the 'penultimate' lap of the day.
Chipsngravy - I just focus on the trail ahead and whilst the drop is in my peripheral vision, I don't really notice it - but I don't suffer from vertigo, so it might not work for you!
here is another one - no drops this time, so maybe easier for you to watch!
