Was at GT today, had a lovely day, and had a few thoughts for the STW members.
If a group of crows is called a murder of crows and a group of fish called a school of fish. What do we call a group of Orange 5 riders or Lappierre riders?
What is it with people who are waiting at the start of a section that raced ahead of you at the last section, yet when you offer to let them go first because you are slower, they decline, then two minutes later are up your arse to get by. What's that all about then?
Tsk, trail centres, eh ?

Probably being polite without thinking ahead/didn't realise how slow you were. You could always speed up.
A "helpdesk" of Orange 5 riders.
A sanitarium of Orange 5 riders?
You could always speed up.
Eh?
A collective noun?
How about a swoosh of Fives?
A cabinet of orange 5 riders?
It's not cool to start bothering someone's ringpiece at a trail centre, but it can happen. No biggie - just let them past.
A squash of Orange 5 riders...
a faff of mountainbikers
A set of _ _ _ _ _ ๐
A cluster of Orange 5 riders
A flock of Lapierre riders, surely?
A clusterphuck of Orange Fives.
A bunch of lapierre riders surely. Y'know, Zesty = oranges or lemons or limes = bunch.
You need to ride faster! I've never been passed by anyone at a trail centre. If you see at two or more people with the same bike I would call them gay! ๐ If someone I rode with bought the same bike as me, especially the same colour, I'd be spending my next bike budget on a sniper rifle! โ

Errr do any of those actually grow in a bunch??!
A "helpdesk" of Orange 5 riders.
๐ brilliant
A toss of orange 5s, a **** of lapierres.
If they were Oranges I'd call them an "Orchard or Oranges".
On La Pierres I'd call them "La Pepe le Peau's".
It's been a long day. I'm sure I've heard people say a bunch of oranges. Never mind....
A bag of oranges.
A squash of oranges.
A tin of oranges.

An ORCHARD??!! Is that where bunches of oranges grow?!
๐
Of course, on an Orange farm, duh.
An ORCHARD??!! Is that where bunches of oranges grow?!
Not always, I've grown a few in my backyard also.
You could call them backyard of Oranges if you like but it doesn't have the same ring about it, and it might come across as being quite offensive!!
Oh god! I can't stand any more fruit related incorrectness! I need to go to bed.
Surely it's a "blockade" of Lapierres? They are French, after all.
A bandwagon of Fives
A hermaphrodite of Fives.
a grove of oranges would probably be technically accurate enough to keep mr mills happy..
I'm going to go for a 'game of fives'
A "helpdesk" of Orange 5 riders.

superb
A "cheese-eating surrender" of Lapierres?
A "carton" of Oranges
A "retreat" of Lapierres
A Ludd of Oranges.
A "preen" of Lapierre riders
An "munt" of Fives
A "MBR subscription" of Five and Lapierre riders.
If it were a group of specialized bikes then it would defo be a flock re the sheep
But re the oranges, throw an orange net over them and call them satsumas
As for the Lappieres. I will not comment as I quite like them
IGMC
How about a Taiwan of 5's?
Just for maximum pedantry regarding the original question, fish are only in a "school" if they are moving in the same direction in a co-ordinated manner. If they're just hanging around together, it's a "shoal".

A Scaffold of Fives?

They were just sort of hanging around together, so a shoal of oranges.
A rack of Fives (filing cabinets)
4 x 5 would be 20
