Just pulling together a bike build and found the forks I have got have a 68ht diameter rather than 58ht. Would these fit the latest model Santa Cruz nomad?

The fit is no different. The width of the crown is purely aesthetic so forks don't look weedy on e-bikes.

It looks massive. Does the narrower one not recess slightly into the frame (so a wider one wouldn’t fit) just worried it’s an expensive mistake.

Unless you have something obscure, both have a standard tapered steerer tube.

The diameter of the bottom of the steerer where the crown race fits should be 40mm.
if it is, you’re good.
