Just how much fun can you have on two wheels?

Lots, it seems.

i certainly wouldn't object if you shared a few more details...

(tyre size, clearance, opinions, etc.)

2.8 NNs (apex-lined) on 50mm Alpkit wheels
Clearance is a little tight on the driveside chainstay, but no problems in the local clart yesterday.

Are they boost forks?
And there was me wondering about a 35mm internal rim width being too much for a 2.5 - 2.7 tyre..
The tyre shape looks ok.

Nope, non-boost.
Tyre shape is fine. Schwalbe recommend 40mm internal for the 2.8 and 45 internal for the 3.0. The Alpkit wheels were cheap, but heavy. I plan to upgrade them at some point so will probably go slightly narrower.

Looking good. How does it feel in comparison to 29s and what tyres were you running then?

I am still tempted to go 29+ in the front of mine as an experiment.

Never ridden it as a 29. Might do if I have any issues that taller/narrower tyres might help.

I might see how my 29x3 Dirt Wizards fit in, just out of curiosity.
