Hey folks, looking for some options on a 29er fs xc bike. I have a 29er HT but really fancy a fs as well. My riding is in the main xc, but the choice seems huge, so looking for other folks thoughts/opinions etc.
Max price of 2k but with good forks and kit.

You could get a Giant Anthem 1 29er for 1999. Great bike, get s real good reviews everywhere

I probably should've said I prefer the "across the frame" type suspension.

I'm guessing the OP means he likes the spark/spearfish/superfly layout rather than the vertical shocks on Anthem/Old FSR/etc.
