Went to have a look at the new special edition Ribble Sportive Racing, needless to say i was thoroughly impressed and subsequently purchased one. Anyone else seen or purchased one, they were only released Thurs but have been a big hit already apparently.
not surprised. I got a 2014 sportive 365 for winter fitness and my general weekday riding is now 50% road. Great bikes, great price, pretty good customer service (bit relaxed but they get it sorted).

I was looking at this as a possible first road bike to suit my Brother, he's got no interest in racing or joining a club/riding sportives etc but just wants a road bike to train on over the winter and into summer - can you fit 25mm or 28mm tyres to it and will it take full mudguards?.

Better check with Ribble themselves on the clearance. Unlikely to have eyelets IMO, since they also do a winter sportive frame.
