Does anyone have any info on the tubing used on the 2011 Kona Explosif? i read somewhere online that someone spoke to a rep who said its pretty much the same as Tange Ultimate despite its Kona Double Butted Cromoly tag. Am trying to find out more details on this e.g. if its been heat treated etc etc
i would have thought given marketeers ability to overhype everything, if kona say it is double butted cromo that's what you get and not a whole lot more, and if it had been heat treated theyd say that too.
Always thought the newer explosif was ridiculous price, basic cromoly at an 853 price, and you'd really have to love the Kona badge or geom to not but a Pipedream sirius, cotic soul etc etc
i had a 2005 model and have been keeping my eye out for one recently but nothing in my size hence the enquiry about the new one plus i also noted je james have knocked a lot off the price of them. still at £300 i know there are better options out there if the new explosif is plain old cromoly
