My mate has a 2011 Lapierre Zesty with fox rl fit 140 mm forks, and when the forks extend there is a loud knocking noise. Does anyone know what might be causing this before we take them apart?

sounds like the circlip holding part of the cart has come loose and the forks are topping out?
