I have been having bother with a new x9 rear mech,
set up as normal H adjuster first then L, the problem is
the mech wont then drop onto the smallest cog as the L
screw hits the inside of the body of the mech? frame/hanger
is perfect,have tried different wheels but no difference and
rear cassette is xt anybody any idea's.

Set up quite a few of these and not come across this problem(finding the cable clamp bolt when fitted is another matter entirely), what frame is it fitted to?

Its a ti456, dropout checked and straight.
I have fitted another x9 and it works fine!
so must be the mech, going to send it back.
