I'm toying with the idea of buying a new chainset, and was wondering if anyone has tried the new Deus offering from Race Face? Merlin are selling the silver on black for £165, which looks like a good deal.

I'm running one on my 5 Spot and they are very good - so far. I've never been a fan of RF HT2 bb's but as far as the cranks go, they are very stiff. RaceFace rings are always good and on my older Deus XC chainset I had a couple of years ago they lasted way way longer than my XTR butter rings. The newer M970 rings are much better though so RF will have to go some way beat those. For that money they are a bargain though and I promise you that you won't be disappointed.
