Anyone know / tried one of the Cane creak air shocks ? do they exist yet ?
yeah just look on google around £210
the made one BITD that were generally thought as OK
I had one about 10 years ago,, very light, but they didn;t ride as well as the fox air shock,, but our XC rider was keen as they were very light,,
i'm sure they are better now
I found the opposite to Ade - had an AD10 for about 8 years on a series of Marin FRS. Couldn't fault it. No platform damping, but both adjustable compression and rebound damping and totally reliable.
I suspect that what you're looking for\asking about, is the long anticipated air version of the Double Barrel. Cane Creek have made air dampers for ages but they've enjoyed anything other than a marginal reputation. I can't say if that's justified or not. What I can say is that if they do bring out an air version of the double barrel, then likely it will blow everything else out of the water and we all should que up to buy one. There have been rumours for a while now but nothing forthcoming.
BOS have also had a prototype air damper in development as well.
