I've been looking for a 2009 Genesis Altitude frame but haven't managed to track one down and am now rather taken by the lovelly cherry red Altitude frames shown on the new Genesis website. I was under the impression that apart fromt the colour change (and a slight price increase) the 2010 frames were the same as the 2009 ones. However, I've just noticed an article in this month's WMB magazine (Gensis 2010 page 30) that says that the 2010 Altitude frame has a slacker head angle (by half a degree) for 120mm - 150mm forks. Again I was under the impression that the Altitudes were designed for a 100mm - 130mm fork, if I bought I frame I'd want to be running 100mm forks.
I appear to have misplaced my Genesis login (they're usually pretty good at answering questions) so until I find it I was wondering if anyone knew the fork range for the 2010 Altitudes. I suppose that it's possible they're mixing up the Altitude with the Alpitude.
Ah, I've just discovered the frameset option in the menus on the new Genesis site and it does list the Altitude frames as being for 100-130mm forks. I guess that's alright then.
