Loving my newly aquired sutra but crave a little compliance for the rougher stuff - would the on one 29er fork replace the current P2?

Greaat bike, I love mine. The P2 craked on mine after doing the honc on it. I replaced it with a voodoo carbon cross disc fork from sideways cycles, it was the same axle-crown lenght as the p2 and has mudguard eyelets which I use. Seems to be a bit less harsh. Think the on-one may be a bit longer than the p2 so may balls the geometry up.
