Off Topic: Is anyone else's Firefox ****ed? I can't view pages properly. Probably serves me right for always clicking the 'remind me later' box for updgrades.

On Topic: If you want to make your commute more exciting, try noticing at work (10 miles away) that the long bolt that holds your quill stem in place is not threaded into the nut thing that sits in the steerer. Then realise that you have no altenative but to ride home (the bars are quite tight, but not super tight) because you have an hour to get the kids from nursery/school club. Hold your breath as you weave through Dudley rush hour traffic. Fun.

Now. Which forum to put this in.

cheers guys!

The threaded stem is on my old commuter. I know less about threaded quill stems than I do about the new fangled ones on mountain bikes....

I'm on Chrome now too, FF just looks pants!

Nice one on the stem, surely a bit of gaffer tape would've held it in place 😆
