Anyone run this.?

Any good. I have got 125mm at the mo but will an extra 25mm make that much difference.?

I went from 130mm Revs to 140mm Pikes on mine and the steering is now noticably lighter when climbing anything steep, which suprised me as it's only 10mm difference.
I can wind the Pikes down with the U-turn but it's a pain.

I went from 100mm to 140mm and it was fine. Took out a few spacers under the bars to lower the front end. You might need to play around with your saddle/bar/stem positions slightly but otherwise go for it. It won't make any difference to your riding though unless the forks are better rather than just longer.

Could try a zero rise stem!

i run 100/120/140 talas on my 456 and it climbs well in all settings. the 100 is rather racey feeling but tbh i just leave it in 140mm setting. i have no problems with the front lifting or anything

140 on mine - Fox Floats c/w 15mm BT. Perfect ๐Ÿ˜€
150's with a bit more sag would be fine too i'd think, but i don't need the 150mm.

I don't need 150mm either but I think a pair of white ones would look mighty fine on one of the new coulour frames.

I've lowered the stem, changed to low rise bars and set the forks with more sag which has helped improve wandering front end, but it's still not like it was with 130mm forks.

Here's a pic, any excuse.

I've 2 pairs of forks for mine, a Fox 36 150mm talas and a Reba 120mm maxle.

The Fox is ace fun, and actually climbs steeper hills than the Reba due to running lots of sag and talas'ing down to about 80mm.

I put the Fox's on for trail centres, Peaks/Wales/Scotland and general foolishness - for local riding and XC I use the Reba's.

And if I knew how to post a picture...

Rides fine to me, but then again I was running 6" on a classic blur, I'm probably not the best person to ask.
