Which ones fit SRAM chain, are re-useable, and cheep?
Clarks.
cheers, better hope I don't snap a chain before CRC are back in stock.
Maybe you should carry a chain splitter then, might save a long walk home
I do, but IME split and re-joined chains don't stay joined for as long as they should, and unless you're very lucky you need a chain tool to press out what's left of the mashed links anyway.

KMC make reusable ones that are cheaper than Srams. The sram links are not reusable (or so Sram say).
I was out a weekend or so back and snapped a link on a 10-speed chain. I only had a 9-speed Powerlink in my bag so I thought it was worth a shot.
It's done over 200km since then and I've not got round to changing it.
