Quick question if I may.
Just putting the final touches to my new bike and I need to measure the chain. Now I know that it's round the two biggest rings for a 3 x 9 but for a 1 x 9, how do I measure the correct chain length?

the same. have it plus one link instead of plus two to avoid chaindrop.

i do on my 1x9 no problem and run without a chaindevice on a middleburn uno chainring

Running a Stinger so will this affect things?

Running a FD with a longer screw through the limit adjuster on the "B" adjust. Sweet as a nut with the same chain length as was with my original 3x9. 😛
