Without boring you with the details, I have had a visit from the Cancer Fairy. Long story short, I need an e-bike.

This was (and remains) my dream bike, but I have had various bits of me removed in order to save my life (a fair trade-off!) and my biking needs a little boost, so about 20 years sooner than I thought, it is time for an e-bike in my life.

The photos are recent but not bang up to date. I can’t lift anything more than 2kg for the next 3 months, so can’t even get the bike down from the hook to take updated photos. It is identical except that I fitted a set of Continental Kryptotal tyres just prior to my diagnosis. Condition is embarrassingly perfect. I am extremely careful with my bikes (as anybody that has bought from me in the past will attest!) and the frame has been Invisiframed since new.. What is generally reckoned to be the best trial bike out there right now. Perfect without being overbiked.

You can’t buy anything like this spec from Atherton. This was a frame-up build, and the current wait is an agonising 4 months for a ti-carbon Atherton bike.

I carefully selected and curated every part of this bike. Even the already lovely Trickstuff brakes were upgraded with Hopp carbon clamps with integrated shifter and dropper connectivity. There is not a mark on it, even under close scrutiny. Nothing is even reaching 5% wear. It was my long term bike, but then life happened.

Size is an Atherton 16, which makes it suitable for 6ft.0 to 6ft 2.0.

Spec as follows:

Frame: Atherton AM130
Fork: Fox 36 Factory 140mm
Headset: Chris King Inset 2
Chainset: SRAM XX SL Transmission (175mm/32T)
Bottom Bracket: Enduro Maxhit
Rear Derailleur: SRAM XO Transmission
Shifters: SRAM XO Transmission
Brakes: Trickstuff Picolla HD with Hopp carbon clamps
Chain: SRAM XO Transmission (comes with spare since I wax and rotate my chains)
Cassette: SRAM XO Transmission
Hubs: Chris King Boost Disc
Rims: DT Swiss XM481
Spokes: Sapim D Light
Tyres: Continental Kryptotal
Stem: Renthal Apex 35 (40mm)
Bars: Renthal Carbon Fat Bar Lite 35 (780mm)
Seatpost: Rockshox Reverb AXS (175mm drop)
Saddle: Specialized Expert Power
Grip ODI Longneck

No pedals, bell or cages. Ping me for more photos.

£4,999 which is a lot of money for a bike, but an absolute steal for a bike that cost over £12,000 to build and is basically new. I am motivated to sell, so don’t be afraid of a cheeky offer. I can always says no, but I might say yes! I might also consider splitting it.

Given my current physical limitations, I would prefer collection but could probably travel to meet somewhere in the middle.
