YT Industries press release:
DECOY SN: The Best Enduro Bike… is E.
The YT Industries range is evolving: meet the new DECOY SN, an electric enduro bike for the new era. Focusing on performance, it combines agile handling, gravity-inspired capability, and motor-assisted climbing power to shift the landscape for how an E-MTB should act on the trail. With its Supernatural ride-feel, the DECOY SN stands as the brand’s best enduro bike to date… and it’s electric.
Frame, Features and Power
The DECOY SN’s intentions are clear. Its sleek Ultra Modulus carbon frame, MX wheel setup, and hard-charging geometry instantly highlight its unruly ambitions. The all-new chassis meshes a 170mm fork with a 63.9-degree head angle to maximize descending performance, while the 442mm chainstays ensure total balance. The award-winning V4L linkage is engineered for maximum grip and features a revised kinematic to control 160mm of rear travel. Through the S to XXL size range, the reach measurement grows from 435mm to 515mm, with all options receiving the same 78-degree seat angle for comfort on prolonged climbing efforts. Geometry can be tweaked with a Flip Chip, and with shorter seat tubes across the range, riders can select a size to match their style, not their height.
Frame and drive-unit integration was vital to the DECOY SN design process, and the resulting product sees the FAZUA Ride 60 ecosystem seamlessly housed within the frame. Chosen for its natural feel and low system weight, this setup provides a high 60Nm torque output and 450W of peak power, alongside lasting juice from the stealthily integrated 430Wh battery. Protecting the motor is a bolt-on skid plate, which links neatly with the extensive frame protection. You’ll even find accessory mounts under the toptube for backpack-free peace of mind when things hit the fan.
Specs
DECOY SN follows the brand’s existing model structure, with the CORE 4 headlining the range. At this level, performance and tuning are a focus. YT chose the FOX 38 Factory fork with the latest GRIP X2 damper architecture for maximum grip, comfort, and customization up front and the proven DHX2 coil shock in the rear, complete with a custom black SLS spring. A durable SRAM GX Transmission drivetrain features for slick shifting, even under power, while the 34T XX chainring ratio is a match for the Ride 60’s power modes. Short, 160mm E13 Helix Race cranks improve clearance to reduce pedal strikes, and to elevate control, the CORE 4 utilizes SRAM’s powerful Maven Silver brakes. You’ll find a ride-tuned Crankbrothers x Industry Nine 1/1 wheelset in place for rapid engagement, and at the cockpit, Renthal supplies a unique, all-black Apex stem and Fatbar.
The CORE 3 specification is universal in its high performance. Here, a RockShox ZEB and Vivid Ultimate suspension combo headline, alongside the just-released SRAM S1000 transmission drivetrain, powerful TRP DH-R Evo brakes, a Crankbrothers Enduro 2 wheelset, and a gravity-inspired Title cockpit.
The CORE 2 is bombproof and big on value. It features a RockShox Select level ZEB and Vivid, Shimano SLX drivetrain, and reliable DT Swiss H1900 wheels alongside YT MOB-approved TRP DH-R Evo brakes.
Regardless of your choice, each DECOY SN features the latest adjustable drop YT Postman V2 dropper post (150mm S, 170mm M, 200mm L – XL, 230mm XXL), an SDG Bel Air 3.0 saddle, custom MRP SL chain guide, and sought after Continental Kryptotal tires, with the latest Super-Soft Enduro casing up front for ultimate traction.
Kona Bicycles press release:
THE ALL-NEW PROCESS 134 AND 153
Progression demands evolution. A modern trail bike can’t just deliver the status quo. It needs to give you MORE.
More descending. More climbing. More pedaling. More corners. More seat time. More versatility. More adaptability. More compatibility. More pop. More braaap. More jumps. More bigger jumps. More berms. More schralp. More holy shit! More saves. More epic views. More adventure. More good times with friends. More free time with the voices in your head.
More Riding. More Fun
TRUST THE PROCESS!
We’ve used that line before. But that is what the Process is all about. Trust. Evolution. Refinement. A constant and ongoing synthesis of adrenaline and durability, fueled by the terrain right here in the PNW and honed to perfection in the quest to build the bike that modern riders need to find their limits, then rise above them. The new Process is the culmination of this evolution; thoughtful execution of purposeful design, bringing the next generation of riders the perfect tool to reach new heights. The Process is more of what you need. No fluff, hype, gimmick or overcorrection.
The all-new Process 153
First introduced in 2014, the Process line rapidly built a legacy of blazing capability and incredible versatility, complementing and influencing as wide a range of styles as mountain biking can hold. Along the way the Process also cemented a reputation for inch-perfect handling and rock-solid dependability. The new Process 153 debuts the third generation of this legacy; now with a mullet-ready flip-chip and more sizes to suit even more riders, along with revised suspension kinematics for broader capability. Available in four builds, each a different interpretation of this all-time, all-mountain, every-trail, do it all crowd favorite. Whatever your dreams, goals, inseam or budget, there’s a Process 153 ready to get you there.
FRAME DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS – PROCESS 153
Customizable: Have it your way
- Mullet Flip Chip – Choose your wheel size; 27.5 for maximum play, 29 for speed to plow. A convenient flip chip located on the seat stay / rocker connection makes choosing between rear wheel sizes a snap. Size Small comes stock with a 27.5” rear wheel and all other sizes come with 29” rear wheels
- Compatible with UDH and SRAM T-type drivetrain
- Air or coil rear shock compatible. Revised suspension kinematics for improved small bump sensitivity and balanced progressivity whether running air or coil.
- Shorter seat tube, deeper seat post insertion, more frame sizes
Functional: Peace of mind
- Improved water bottle clearance, more water bottle mounts
- Integrated tool / accessory mount on underside of top tube
- Enhanced frame protection
- Carbon frames feature fully guided internal cable / hose routing with a Y connector allowing clean hose direction for either moto or regular style brakes. This is internal routing done right!
- Aluminum frames feature full external cable / hose routing (except for dropper post) for unbeatable user friendly, hassle-free performance and serviceability
- Bearing and pivot hardware cross-compatibility – all Process models use the same dependable, easily sourced hardware
The all-new Process 133
There’s a sweet spot between the tight focus of XC bikes and the sometimes beefy overkill of longer travel all-mountain/enduro/park machines. A place where snappy pedaling and telepathic responsiveness meets surefooted handling and enough suspension to get rowdy. We call this sweet spot the Process 134, or “the trail bike most of us need.” More travel and burlier than the Hei Hei, less travel but the same rowdy intentions as the Process 153 with more pop and flickability thrown in for supreme fun.
The new Process 134 rolls into its third generation with a fistful of changes; a mullet-ready flip-chip, sizes to suit a wider size range riders, revised suspension kinematics for even broader capability. Slice it up four different ways; two in carbon fiber, two in aluminum, from no-nonsense affordable to pretty damn fancy but still very reasonable. There are a million different ways to think about trail riding, and a Process 134 perfect for every one of them.
Lapierre press release:
Spicy CF – One philosophy since 2007
Since 2007 and the launch of the first Spicy, Lapierre’s objective has been to create a bike designed for enduro and
competition. A mountain bike that’s fast, lively, precise and incisive on descents, but with the Lapierre philosophy: ride
well to reach the next descent as quickly and easily as possible.
With our LAPIERRE ZIPP COLLECTIVE Enduro team, Spicy has more than 18 Enduro World Series victories with our riders, 3 world championship titles and four times French champion.
Spicy’ Spirit
- Excellent descender
- Good roller
- Lightweight (14.2 kg for Enduro Spicy Team 2023)
- Versatile Enduro (29 or Mullet)\
“There are so many ways to ride enduro that we wanted no limits on this new Spicy! From rolling terrain to the steepest slopes there’s bound to be a configuration to suit, with 4 possible versions without compromise.” – NICOLAS VOUILLOZ
The game changer now exists: it’s called the Spicy CF
Today’s enduro scene can be divided into two distinct types of riding.
Enduro competitions call for mountain bikes that are excellent downhillers, light, responsive, capable of riding well uphill, and with travel that allows them to be comfortable and fast on steep, technical descents.
And then there’s a more classic use in mountain resorts: the Bike Park, where all the qualities of an excellent downhill rider will be exacerbated: crossing scree, steep slopes, jumps and transfers. Phases where kinematics, jump call and balance in the air are essential if you want to be at one with your bike.
And then there are the trends: full 29’ or Mullet.
At Lapierre, the rider should now have a choice on a single bike.
The new Spicy CF can be summed up as follows:
- frame
- pratices : Enduro Race or Bike Park
- kinematics : High Pivot or Low Pivot
- configurations : HP or LP, 29’’ or Mullet

Canyon press release:
CANYON UNLEASHES TEMPR CFR RACING SHOES UTILISING NEW BOA PERFORMFIT WRAP
High-performance Road and Off-road CFR race shoes for Canyon’s footwear debut
Since 2002 Canyon has been forging an enviable reputation as one of the world’s most progressive and disruptive cycling brands. Now Canyon is moving that expertise into footwear with the launch of its Tempr CFR footwear line designed for high performance Road racing and XC mountain biking or gravel racing.
Canyon’s Factory Racing (CFR) line is the pinnacle of the company’s research and development expertise, distilled into world-beating products. Using the finest materials, the highest quality production, and the knowledge, expertise and dedication to performance from industry experts and professional riders, the Tempr CFR line is a shoe from Canyon that’s fit for champions.
The all-new Tempr CFR shoes are designed to strike the sweet spot between speed and comfort, giving the forefoot room to flex, locking in the heel and embracing the foot to provide a platform for fluid, direct pedal strokes.
Development expertise
Not only did Canyon call on the expertise of industry veterans Carl Bird and Eric Horton, of FORM8ION to bring their knowledge and input to the state-of-the-art designs, but they also worked with partners such as BOA®, Solestar® and Vibram® to create a high-level shoe for its world-class athletes to win world-class events.
“Our expertise in developing world-class bikes is second to none so it was only natural that we bring that world-class talent to shoe developments too, completing the connection between the rider and their bike,” said Canyon’s Stan Mavis, Global Director Gear.
Innovation and performance
Canyon focused on answering three challenges during the development. How to optimise the footwear last for power and comfort, how to eliminate wasted movement and how to measurably gain watts.
The answer comes in three main development technologies:
Together with Solestar®, Canyon co-developed their PUREFIT360™ insole to match the foot form and naturally move the foot, returning it to a neutral position for maximum power transfer without any impact on comfort. Temper CFR shoes also feature Canyon’s full-length CFR carbon fibre internal plate. Both of these technologies combine to bring maximum power transfer in a shoe that’s comfortable to wear all day long.In collaboration with BOA®, Canyon developed the unique PerformFit Wrap system to encircle your heel and arch, control the instep and lock the heel in place, which eliminates unnecessary foot movement within the shoe and provides freedom from pressure points across the arch of the foot. These two technologies result in what Canyon calls Percent+, where its technology partners and its innovative shoe design provide highly efficient power transfer, race-ready performance and measurable watt gains over conventional shoe closure systems.
“Our first shoes straight out of the block are pushing state of the art performance and have already proven themselves at the highest levels of racing. We are known for challenging the status quo with our design expertise and our athlete input. With these shoes we’ve achieved another innovation milestone,” said Mavis.
The shoes are already podium-worthy thanks to Canyon athletes such as Petr Vakoč, Zoe Bäckstedt (pictured below), Luca Schwarzbauer and Dante Young, who’ve taken victories in elite-level Gravel, Cyclocross, XCO , XCC and Road races this season.
Feature-packed footwear
As well as the latest in fit performance from BOA® and Solestar®, Canyon has also incorporated a unique sock-like stretch tongue material to snugly hold the foot. Both Road and Off-road shoes also come with pressure relief zones built into typical hot spot areas to provide a supportive but supple balance.
Plus, two anodised aluminium BOA® Li2 dials offer a multi-directional, efficient, fine-tuned fit that’s both durable and replaceable.
On the Off-road shoes, a Vibram Megagrip® outsole offers best-in-class traction.
Canyon’s Tempr CFR Road shoes are available in white and black variations, priced 329,95 EUR and weighing 250g (size 42). Its Tempr CFR Off-road shoes come in black with gum tread, or grey or white with a black tread, also priced 329,95 EUR, weighing in at 290g (size 42).
All shoes feature understated branding, with Canyon’s small CFR on the heel cup and a Canyon motif on the back of the heel.
Both the Road and Off-road shoes are available in EU sizes between 36-48 with half sizes from 40.5 to 46.5 exclusively from Canyon.com or via the Canyon app where you can also find service instructions. Additionally Canyon footwear can also be seen at Canyon’s Factory Service locations in Europe and North America.
