Megasack Giveaway Day 10: Funn Python Pedals

by 11

On the tenth day of Megasack your true love (Singletrack World) gave to you: the chance to win a set of super cool flat pedals.

Thursday 14h December: Funn Python Pedals

Funn are a storied name in flat pedal circles. Their flatties have always had something of a cult following from certain parts of the flat pedal subculture, dating back to the pre-Five Ten era when hardly anyone rode mountain bikes with flat pedals.

These Pythons are all about being slim. Crafted with a sleek and thin profile. One designed benefit of thinness is improved stability due to the reduction in pedal ‘roll’.

Features

  • Ultra thin and lightweight AL6061 forged pedal body
  • Cartridge bearing with full length bushing axle system
  • 11 removable pins each side
  • Optional long pins for enhanced grip (Sold separately)
  • Platform size: W103mm x L110mm x H10.5mm
  • 375g per pair
  • Color Options: Black / Red / Blue / Grey / Green / Orange / Turquoise

Comes with a super cute Action Man wrench for pin removal/tightening/installation!

Funn sez: “Forged from durable AL6061 alloy, these pedals exemplify exceptional strength, guaranteeing reliability and longevity on your rides. With valuable insights from professional riders, Python Pedals provide a confident and secure grip, elevating your performance to new heights. Experience the perfect blend of form and function as you upgrade your cycling adventure with Python Pedals, unlocking untapped potential on the trails.”

After watching that bit with the answer several times, it could either be a specific creature or a generic term not species specific.

Nope not a clue, I can hear the bit, but unless it’s local slang it’s unintelligible to me. Subtitles didn’t help much either ☹️.

When they’re not dodging pedals they’re making jackets 😀.
I’m usually good at judging where the answer will be given, not today though, fast forwarded too far and ended up watching all of it.

Will the answer be shown anywhere – be nice to know if we were in with a chance of winning or just a bit deaf

For anyone else struggling with the answer and only getting “muts” from the captions on YouTube, here’s a 2nd clue, its spelt “_ _ _ mot”,
To be fair I have good hearing but thought he said farmers the first time around 😀.

No confirmation email today so I’ve just resubmitted. I’m not trying to cheat the system, just want to make sure my entry counts.
