Dinos, Lions and Unicorns: Kids Ride Shotgun launch riding jerseys for little people. The jerseys retail for £33.

Big news for kids. Or maybe mountain bike parents. Today the folk over at Kids Ride Shotgun have launched a new range of technical kids riding jerseys, designed for children 2 to 6 years.

The new threads feature animals from the company’s ‘Shred Til Bed ABC‘ book, along with a windproof nylon front panel to keep the chills at bay and so the kids stay warm when hitting the trails.

In terms of construction, the garments are made from an “eco-friendly” cotton modal blend, which is more breathable than traditional synthetic fabrics, whilst still being tough enough for the ragging that kids will no doubt put the garments through.

“For kids apparel, we really wanted to do something to get kids pumped on riding – we wanted to do something that looked MTB, but also something that kids could connect and relate to, and wasn’t just a downsized version of an adult riding jersey.” – Dan, Kids Ride Shotgun

Not only that, Kids Ride Shotgun’s entry into kids riding gear coincides with the release of an updated version of their frame mounted Shotgun seat, the Shotgun 2.0. Handy that eh?

The new jerseys come in sizes 2, 4 and 6 years, with three characters to choose from. The jerseys retail for £33.

I’d wear the dinosaur one to be honest!

It’s awesome stuff like this exists now but my kids are in S or M ADULT clothing now so it also makes me a bit sad…

And mine – big kid so 8 y/o upwards. I’d buy the dino one in an instant for him – or in men’s med for me!

I’ll probably get their tow rope, but my girls are now 6 and 8 so probably too big for these ☹️
I got them tops from CognativeMTB a couple of years ago and they really liked them and they still fit. They do sizes from 4 to 10 years.

Bicycle Booth do a wide range of unicorn themed gear but the smallest they do is XXS, which is probably a bit big
