Kade x Semenuk: The Edit Your Screen Was Made For

by 10

Kade Edwards and Brandon Semenuk sync up their mountain bike timing and riding in ‘Parallel II’. Fast cuts. Constant action. Top notch riding. Instant classic.

Filmed on a custom course in Kamloops, British Columbia, the riders leave little room for error while riding in rather close quarters!

Red Bull: “Brandon Semenuk is constantly pushing the boundaries of what can be done on a mountain bike by combining top talent filmmaking and progressive riding.

“After joining forces with long-time friend and fellow Trek teammate, Ryan “R-DOG” Howard, in 2019, Brandon released the first edition of ‘Parallel’, a viral action-edit that displayed riding in sequence like never seen before. Two riders, two parallel courses, with intersecting riding and action.

“Now, Semenuk has teamed up with UCI World Cup rider, Kade Edwards, for a second take. The powerhouse duo set out to push the series, as well as their capabilities to align timing and riding, in this stunning visual project.

“From racing at the highest level on the UCI circuit, to competing with some of the world’s best freeriders, Kade Edwards really can do it all on two wheels. It comes to no surprise that Brandon Semenuk partnered with the young rider, considered one of the best all round bike handlers in the business to film the second edit of ‘Parallel’. Together with his fellow Red Bull and Trek teammate, the pair deliver proximity riding and filming like never seen before, in the second take of this timeless project.”

Kade Edwards: “I’ve always had a life-long obsession with riding and constantly trying to push what I’m capable of on the bike. Brandon is someone I’ve looked up to for a long time, and being part of Parallel II meant the opportunity to take things to a whole new level alongside one of the best freeriders in the world.”

Liked that, especially the hand plant and the crossover at the end. If my mate and I tried that, it would not end well.

    Jebus! That’s some bike riding.

They’ve definitely learned those skills slogging uphill on a rigid single speed.
