Paul Couderc should now be called “Mr. Perseverance’ after attempting this ballsy trick 35 times over 7 months before nailing it!
Ever tried a jump or trail section a few times and fail each time? How many times did you try before you gave up completely? Three times? Five times? Ten times? Could you imagine attempting the same trick 35 times? What about 35 times with a 7-month gap between?
Commencal rider, Paul Couderc, shows us the true meaning of perseverance in this latest video edit. The video shows Paul attempting a kind of reverse flair, starting at the top of a drop before hopping 180 degrees and flaring down to the landing ramp. It’s an insane trick, and as you’ll see from the video, not an easy one to pull off!
If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again!

Flippin ekk.
Once would be enough for me I think
I nailed that one first time. I knew I should have filmed it.
Love this. Wonder if he’s ever tried it again?
How on earth did the white top at the end stay so clean!
So, if it doesn’t actually hurt to come off a big ramp and crash 157 times, why aren’t we all doing it?!
