Crankworx Whistler has been a fixture on the MTB calendar since 2004. Several days, spanning a variety of disciplines, on some of our sport’s most iconic trails – the event has built a global following. To join this celebration of mountain biking, Canyon is launching its MTB Sale, offering its award-winning bikes at even better pricing from the 8th to the 19th of August.
What originally started as a gravity focussed event, Crankworx has now evolved to encompass almost all areas of modern MTB. In the same way, Canyon is offering discounts on bikes across its MTB product categories in the Canyon Sale – but rest assured, in vintage Crankworx style, selected models from the heavy-hitting Sender and Torque ranges are included too.
For the XC crowd, Canyon have some of their screamingly fast Exceed hardtails on offer. A platform that’s already been piloted to some impressive victories by Mathieu Van Der Poel and Pauline Ferrand Prevot this season. Check out Wil’s thoughts on the top end Exceed CF SL 7.9 Di2 in his in-depth review.
Another bike that has enjoyed some great results at the highest level is our 29er Enduro race machine – the Strive CF. On the fly geometry adjust via the Shapeshifter technology takes the edge off winching back to the top of the hill when in ‘climb mode’, but still eats up the downs in ‘descend mode’. If you want to find out more about the Strive, check out Singletrack’s in depth look at the full Strive range here.
Selected models from Canyon’s trail platforms, the Neuron and the Spectral are also included in this promotion – meaning both 27.5 and 29er fans can take advantage of the great offers. Have a read of Singletrack Wil’s review of the Neuron CF 9.0 and see what he thought of the 130mm trail tamer.
For those wanting to ride further and explore new areas, or if you’re just tight on time and want to cram in more runs, our EMTB’s make those extra trails more accessible than ever. Whether it be the playful Spectral:ON or the comfortable, mile munching Neuron:ON- there’s something to fit every ride style included in the promotion. Have a read of what happened when Singletrack tried to ride all of the valley on a pair of Spectral:ON’s here.
