Mavic Trans-Provence Returns For 2015

Mavic® Trans-Provence is back to mark the start of Summer 2015. This, the 7th edition of the Original Alpine MTB Rally, takes riders right from the High Alps to the Mediterranean Sea via a World of mountain adventure and a huge catalogue of mind-blowing singletrack.

From 20-27 June, some of the fastest racers on the planet will be mixing it up with talented riders from 20 different countries to battle it out on the gravity-fuelled trails of the Southern French Alps and here’s a video that gives just a flavour of the awesomeness that this years riders will encounter.

It’s 6 days. 270km. 9000m up. 18000m down. 24 Special Stages… to some it’s a race; to some it’s just an epic journey by mountain bike; and to others it’s both. We’ll be posting the daily video reports from the event as each day happens, so keep it right here.

Singletrack Owner/Publisher

Mark has been riding mountain bikes for over 30 years and co-owns Singletrack, where he's been publisher for 25 years. While his official title might be Managing Director, his actual job description is "whatever needs doing" – from wrangling finances and keeping the lights on to occasionally remembering to ride bikes for fun rather than just work. He's seen the sport evolve from rigid forks to whatever madness the industry dreams up next, and he's still not entirely sure what "gravel" is. When he's not buried in spreadsheets or chasing late invoices, he's probably thinking about his next ride.
