Here’s our latest round up of bike related stuff that’s looking for funding on Kickstarter…
Urbanshell Bag Cover
Earlier this Urbanshell created and launched the Urbanshell orange bag cover. Following their launch they were asked for additional colour options. They listened, went away and finally decided on two distinctive pantone colours to give you the look YOU want! One of the best things about the Urbanshell bag cover is that it is designed to fit into the commuters lifestyle.
Urbanshell are confident the product will perform when in use: IT IS SUPER EASY TO SLIP ONTO YOUR BAG IN NO TIME! It has an elasticated edge so that it can fit snugly around your bag without flapping around.
The Urbanshell bag cover is supposed to not just make you look good; it will also help you to stay visible and dry while out on the roads and fits within your urban lifestyle! Urbanshell bag covers also make the perfect gift. Great for any cyclist and sure to make them feel and look awesome.

Twentyeightco: Made in London apparel for the urban cyclist
In a Nutshell…
We want to start Twentyeightco as a professional cyclewear brand, specializing in clothing and accessories for the fashion conscious urban cyclist. Made for professionalism our garments can be used as urban cycling apparel also for general lesuire purposes which are not related to cycling.
Daniel Prempeh created Twentyeightco, a daily cyclist himself, he ran into the same problems in lack of comfort and utility with clothing while riding on the bike. So he created a full line of clothing and accessories that are both good looking and have features fit for the bike
In early 2014, we began developing a few designs which could appeal to the professional man and keen cyclist. With much positive feedback, we decided to focus on the quality and style of our cycling garments rather than sports and performance.
The Handmade Insulation Jacket, the Newham Insul-Jacket – which will be made from Waterproof breathable coated Microfibre (Colours will be available in: BLACK)
The Denim Stretch Cycling Jeans, the Woodford Denim Stretch Cycling Jeans – which will be made from 48% Cotton, 48% Polyester, 4% Spandex (Colours will be available in : NAVY & BLACK)
The Handmade Slim-Fit T-shirt, the Ilford Slim Fit Tee – which will be made from 93% Bamboo – Viscose, 7% Spandex (Colours will be available in: BLACK, GREY, NAVY & WHITE)
The Leather Backpack, the Bethnal Leather Backpack – which will be made from Top Grain Cowhide (Colours will be available only in: CHESTNUT BROWN) As our crowdfunding goal is 16k if we able to reach 25k or more before the project ends then we will be able to launch the Bethnal leather backpack to the collection.

LUMO – Be seen. City cycling apparel.
We design cycling apparel to be seen in, on and off a bike. We’ve taken design inspiration from classic British outer-garments and bags and combined them with state-of-the-art wearable technology features with cycling firmly in mind. Our jackets and bags feature subtle in-built LED lights that make you more visible than a fluorescent jacket, yet are completely concealed until they are switched on. Using fabrics that wouldn’t look out of place in a designer clothes store yet come straight from a science lab, you will look and feel as good riding a bike as you will walking into a bar. Designed for the eye, built for the bike.
A contemporary twist on the iconic British Harrington style, the Herne Hill has been crafted from 100% Gabardine Cotton twill and lined with a contrast bonded Chambray. This luxurious fabric has been treated with world-leading Schoeller® 3XDRY® technology to add functional performance to its sharp looks. Comes in mens and women’s specific cuts. Sizes XS, S, M, L, XL
Taking a slim fit cotton polo and adding a dash of cycling heritage in the detailing, the Camden is perfect for summer days and evenings. Made from a dapper cotton piqué with a touch of Lycra® for riding comfort and a moisture-wicking Hydry® finish to keep you cool and dry. Comes in mens and women’s specific cuts. Sizes XS, S, M, L, XL
Drawing inspiration from vintage British military rucksacks, the Bermondsey is a versatile roll top backpack designed for city cycling. MOTA Wireless GoPro Charger
We GoPro users need something better. That’s why MOTA invented the Wireless Charger for GoPro. It charges the camera through its housing, an extra battery, and can even charge a cell phone at the same time – with no need for external power. Thanks to its compact size, it’s small enough that you can take it with you and enjoy filming with your GoPro all day.
Our prototype currently features the most essential components of a wireless charger. There is a base station that contains a power transmitter that includes a transmitting coil. As we speak, we are perfecting our prototype of the MOTA Wireless Charger for GoPro to create a wireless charging device that will be stronger than a regular Qi wireless charger.
Designed with built-in mini and micro USB ports, the MOTA Wireless Charger for GoPro can charge a smartphone or any other electronic device. Simply insert your encased GoPro and an extra battery into the charging station. The precisely engineered wireless slots automatically position them for the optimum charge.

Just what’s needed more twatty clothing, isn’t the bag cover just a hump in orange?
hipster spaff *EVERYWHERE*.
urggh,
And a black cycling jacket. superb thinking. Shagged out messenger gloves mandatory, obviously.
And the why oh why, Jeremy Vine, do they still not put light clips on bag covers, cycling jackets etc.
I hate to be the one to break it to twentyeightco, but Levi’s have been making that exact range of clothes for years…they call them ‘commuter’ http://www.levi.com/GB/en_GB/category/men/collections/levi-collections-commuter
Actually, having looked at the full page properly now my last point was incorrect. Commuter is aimed at cyclists while twentyeightco is just extremely expensive clothes with nothing to do with cycling other than having a bike in the pictures!!
