Last minute tie-break thumb wrestle.

Grafham Cycling presented a local cycling enthusiast with a Scott Aspect 29er Sport and Endura Singletrack clothing worth £1,000 after he won a prize draw at a demo day run in conjunction with Singletrack magazine. Bastiaan Dickhoff, a mountain bike enthusiast hailing from the Netherlands, was presented with his prize by Rutland Cycling’s Head of Marketing David Middlemiss. This Sunday 29th of April Grafham Cycling, part of the Rutland family, will host another free demo day at which riders can enter a draw to win a Specialized Carve Comp 29er also worth £1,000.

Bastiaan, a mountain bike enthusiast, said “I was lost for words when I found out I had won! I’m intending to put my new bike through its paces when I race next weekend”. David Middlemiss added that “thanks to the support of the guys at Scott, Endura and Singletrack Magazine we’re delighted to present Bastiaan with his prize. Our demo days are free to attend and riders will enjoy Britain’s best 29er demo fleet right here at Grafham Cycling. The next event on Sunday 29th April features the teams from big names like Scott, Kona and Trek. Not only that but one attendee will win a great 29er bike, just like Bastiaan!”

Grafham Cycling is located on the shores of Grafham Water, less than 2 miles from the A1 near Huntingdon. The venue offers everything for the mountain biker; a fully stocked shop run by experienced staff and new off-road routes that introduce riders to the secluded back-routes of this pretty corner of Cambridgeshire.
