‘Ride The Divide’ film night at Dales Bike Centre

by 5

We’ve just heard from the good folks at Dales Bike Centre they’ve organised another Mountain Bike Film night at The Station Cinema in Richmond, North Yorkshire on the 8th May, that’s this Sunday.

Ride the Divide is an award-winning feature film about the world’s toughest mountain bike race, which traverses over 2700 miles along the Continental Divide in the Rocky Mountains. The film weaves the story of three characters’ experiences with immense mountain beauty and small-town culture as they attempt to pedal from Banff, Canada to a small, dusty crossing on the Mexican border.

Stu from DBC told us “We can’t wait to see this film on the big screen, I remember reading about the route back in the early nineties thinking what a great trip but doing it as a race! Recently there’s been a few friends and customers of the Bike Centre that have called upon the Great North Air Ambulance so having the film night is a good way to try a raise a bit of money.

Tickets are £9 with the proceeds going to the Great North Air Ambulance. The evening will start at 7pm for a beer and some shiny from Niner and Ibis to look at.

To book tickets please call Dales Bike Centre on 01748 884908, email enquiries@dalesbikecentre.co.uk or even better drop in! Be quick though, there are only 92 seats! Tickets are ONLY available from Dales Bike Centre and it is unlikely there will be any available on the night. For more information check out www.dalesbikecentre.co.uk/events.html
