MTB Enduro and guided Youth Ride add to Trail Break Chilterns event

Summit MBC join Trail Break for a packed day of off road riding on April 24th

Trail Break have teamed up with Chiltern locals Summit MBC to add some exciting new events to their forthcoming Princes Risborough event weekend. On Saturday April 24th, their Southern Trail Ride will be joined by the Summit 65 Enduro and a Go Ride guided youth ride.

The Princes Risborough Trail Ride is an established spring favourite and was a natural for the addition of an enduro. Martin from Trail Break tells us “We like to work with local clubs when we can in the areas we visit and Summit are a prominent and active club in the Chilterns, so we were delighted that they were keen to get on board. We fixed on a 65k route for this early season date, but when you look at the routes we’re putting together, 65k is going to be plenty! We’re making the final route decisions this week, and it’s been an interesting process, with our years of experience in that area and Summits’ on the ground knowledge sparking off each other to create a cracking course!

The Summit 65 runs alongside the regular Southern Trail Ride distances, offering something for everyone on the day, from family riders up to the enduro hardcore. All distances are fully marked out and mapped, with feed and drink stations on route offering rider support, and electronic rider timing for on the line results.

In addition, Summit will be encouraging the next generation of MTBers on a fully guided and supervised youth ride around the Trail Ride short course. Summit are a fully Go Ride affiliated club with Club Mark accreditation for Youth Training, and hold regular youth coaching sessions as part of their regular calendar. The Summit Youth Ride will be open to riders from 10-16 years of age.

The whole promises to add up to a great of day of cycling for a wide range of riders. You can find out more and book your place by visiting trailbreak.co.uk or calling 0118 988 6041.
