Online Marketing Executive

Job Requirements:

Chain Reaction Cycles, the world’s largest on line bike store has developed an exciting new opportunity within our Advertising and Marketing Department. The successful applicant will be solely responsible for creating ongoing search engine optimisation, management of online marketing campaigns and new online marketing initiatives as part of broader marketing campaigns to take an already leading and successful brand even further.

Job Duties:

• Contributing to and developing long term online marketing strategy
• Responsible for creating, implementing, managing and evaluating the on line marketing activities
• Accountable for efficient creation and running of all search engine marketing campaigns
• Actively increase the volume of traffic to the CRC website and the overall sales via SEO
• Evaluating marketing campaigns in terms of impact upon sales via analyzing and monitoring statistics to create reports for Senior Management
• Conduct research and keep up to date with search marketing developments
• Monitoring competitors on line sales strategies
• Working closely with our creative team
• Budget control
• Liaise with external providers/clients
• Development And maintenance of CPP Advertising

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum 2 years experience in an internet marketing role with the ability to demonstrate a high level of knowledge on search engines, internet and web development technologies
• Experience of using the price comparison platforms and managing display advertising
• Proven capability of improving a websites ranking via SEO
• Ecommerce experience and strong commercial awareness
• Proficient in the usage of Microsoft word and excel (including the ability to create graphs, formulas, sorting and comparing data)
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to deliver high quality work to deadline
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Experience of Google Analytics

Desirable Criteria:

• Keen interest in the sport of cycling
• Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
