But what type of Hi Roller? I mean, 2.5 dual ply super tacky is ace on the front, but the 2.1 single ply is roobash! 😉
I’ve never seen or heard of anybody who actually uses WTB tyres.
If you want an accurate representation of what people are using then you need to include Fire XC Pro, Mountain Kings, Bonty Jones ACX and Mud X to name but a few.
… and Swalbe Nobby Nics, Maxxis Advantages, Swampthings, Minions, Panaracer trailrakers, Cinders … what else is popular on here at the moment?
I know a couple of people using WTB tyres, though they did come supplied on new bikes

Pfft everyone knows raceking supersonics in 2.2 are the flavour of the month (everywhere apart from STW :P).
For me its racing ralphs in that list though!

Continental Rubber Queens UST surely Ben?
WTB Motoraptor and Panaracer Fire XC Pros, both in Kevlar bead.
Currently a mix of Rubber Queens, Fire XC USTs, Michelin Wildgripper Sprints, Spesh Eskars and Conti XC 1.5s. Depends on the terrain and weather.
Nevegals are good but what about Schwalbwe Nobby Nics??

I’m a big fan of Conti Vert Pro’s but also use Panaracer Razers in summer – quite fancy trying Racing Ralphs in the summer.
PS never had a puncture using the Conti’s! Been running them for more than three years too.
Surely the inclusion of Verti Pros was clue enough that this isn’t a serious poll. = :7)

seriously ? big betty’s for my rock infested playground with a super glooey guuey up front.
for trail centres, nobby nics roll well and dip in beautifully.
