I think it might be the colour, but I doubt it. Hate to think how much it’d cost in that spec, but a carbon version in that colour would be one of my lottery win bikes I feel.

    Alan… U definitely DON’T need that bike… Put the bank card away…

I’m not sure Im a fan to be honest… Bet it cost a disgusting amount of cash (the norm of late)… Even for the frame.

I was away to say it won’t stay shiny for long… But as your so slow and never gather enough momentum to dislodge a stone.. There is no way you will get one high enough to actually chip the nice frame.. ; )

    Ooft.

Frame is $2,269 at Fanatik Bike Co in the US, so I’d guess it’d not be far off £2000 here.

Matt, I’m comfortable with pink as a colour choice. Something you’re not keen on?

UK retail is £1899 in standard colours, not sure until next week what the standard colour options will be, custom colours are normally £200 extra.

Bad ass bikes built mine to my spec. It’s a stunning bike to ride, very fast out of corners. Amazed at its climbing ability too. The green is errr eye catching. Quite a few people had admired it on the trail. No one notices the wheel size.

Can you get a pic of the tyre clearance? Interested in one of these frames but even the magazine reviews say the tyre Clarence is a joke. Seen pics showing 1mm tyre clearance but hopefully these were prototype or early frames.

I’m not talking about side to side clearance either. I’m on about above the tyre where the little brace is on the seat stay.

brompton – what was the thinking behind going for a bigger rear wheel than front one? Have a missed another new trend?

    Hahaha… Camera trickery I’m afraid.

    And been nowhere near Woburn.

Loving the Intense though…. climbs really well and goes even better downhills.

    Awesome machine.
